Home Gardening Accesories: Feng Shui Elements

Feng Shui is an ancient eastern art of thousands of years that teaches us how to arrange the elements in our environment to attract good fortune, prosperity and health.

Wind and Water are Feng Shui Chinese characters that mean and represent the close relationship between the teachings of the art and the respect for the forces of nature. The Feng Shui rules are simple: positive energy or Chi is in accordance with nature, should be found all around us. This principle can be successfully applied to a garden.

There is no Feng Shui garden without a lake or a cascade that attracts positive energy and send them to the environment. Water is important for health, success and purity.

Your Garden is a mirror of life
According to Feng Shuin teachings, each gardening site or habitat in which we spent our time, we work or we play has the energy that can affect our life in many ways. The garden is divided into nine Bagua zones. With little organization you can "address" the energy you want to assimilate. A perfect Feng Shui garden includes a section devoted to each Bagua zone in order to keep a balance. But before talking too much about this, I'm going to appeal to your own heart. Even if you don't believe in Feng Shui, I know that you experience every place you walk in differently, and it affects you in many ways. Choose the items that will make your heart feel warm and your soul feel welcomed.
